According to Archil Talakvadze the Security Services has done a good job to preclude a grave crime that was supposedly directed against the safety of people, media and journalism.

“The State Security Service has worked professionally and prevented serious crimes that were allegedly directed against the security of our society and the activities of the media.

Any forcible act or an organized assault against a journalist is unacceptable for us and we won’t allow anyone to do it in our country. The state that we are building is protecting its people in accordance with the rule of law, democracy, and human rights principles.

The investigation continues and it has to find out in whose interest it was to carry out such crime that would discredit Georgia and its authorities internationally”, - said Archil Talakvadze.
