4 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Samegrelo during the last two days. Among the infected are a doctor from Senaki, who also works at the Poti Ambulance Center, brother and sister from Martvili with a history of traveling to Batumi and a firefighter-rescuer living in Poti.

Besides, patients from different regions are treated at the Rukhi Clinic.

“We have 4 COVID-infected patients in the region. The case of Senaki doctor has 45 identified contacts, Martvili case - 31 contacts and Poti case - 45. Biological samples have been taken and we are waiting for the results”, - said Malkhaz Toria, the acting governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti.
