Coronavirus was confirmed to two employees of Coast Guard Department, Batumi Division of the Border Police under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. One of them is the chief specialist of the division and the other one is the support staff of the same structural unit.

Test results of the personnel became known on September 7 th and 8th.

All Coast Guard personnel with whom the infected had direct contact have been transferred under the medical observation and tested for the virus. The building was completely disinfected.

Both infected are being treated at the fever center of Batumi Hospital.
