165 out of 227 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Adjara. Most of the infected are contacts of cases detected in the previous days.

According to the Adjara Public Health Center, 480 people are being treated in the clinics of the region. More than 600 have been transferred to the quarantine. 82 people have recovered from the new coronavirus in Adjara region.

The number of infected people has reached 4 140 in Georgia.
