Ministry of Internal Affairs solved the case of armed robbery in Tbilisi

The officers of Isani-Samgori Police Division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative and investigative activities detained previously convicted N.N. (DoB 1989) in Tbilisi for armed robbery.

Committed crime envisages from 5 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that on October 29 of the recent year, N.N. assaulted the gas station “Galpi” located on Kakheti highway, illegally appropriated cash and fled from the place of crime.

Law enforcers detained N.N. several hours later after the crime took place as a result of immediate activities. Illegally appropriated cash was seized by police as evidence.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery, article 179 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
