1 852 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia in the last 24 hours, said the Deputy Head of Task Force operating under the Inter-Agency Coordination Council.

According to Berdia Sichinava, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 detected in the country since the first infection is 42,579.

“1,696 people recovered in the last 24 hours and the total number of recovered people increased to 26,800. Unfortunately, we also had deaths in the last 24 hours. 7 more people died of the virus, 6 - in Adjara and 1 - in Kakheti. Since February 26, 2020, we have a total of 342 deaths”, - added Sichinava.
