Ministry of Internal Affairs detained three members of a organized group in Ponichala for drug dealing

The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs along with office of General Prosecutor, as a result of investigative and operative activities detained the following members of the criminal group: A.A. (1995) N. G. (DoB1980) and N.K. (DoB 1976) for illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs in especially large quantities committed by the group with a previous agreement.

The committed crime envisages from 8 to 20 years or lifetime of imprisonment.

The investigation established that AA, N.G. and N.K. were assigned to roles according to a pre-elaborated plan and sold drugs on the regular basis.

According to the plan, A.A. was in communication with customers, while two members of one family - N. G. And N. K. provided drugs at the place reserved for the buyer and received money. Detainees also involved a minor in illegal activities.

In order to protect the best interests of the juvenile, the social service and all other relevant agencies were involved in the case.

Following the court decision, the law enforcers repeatedly carried out the so-called control purchase of “Heroin” from the accused persons and videotaped the process.

The investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs in especially large quantities committed by the group with a previous agreement, article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
