A newborn died of the Delta variant of coronavirus at the Tsitsishvili Clinic.

According to Maia Chkhaidze, the medical director of the Tsitsishvili Clinic, the child’s health condition was critical. He was transferred from Sokhumi clinic.

The above is the second case of infant’s death of coronavirus in Georgia. The previous one died last week.
