Georgian canoeist Aleksandre Tsivtsivadze wins World Championship

Georgian canoeist Aleksandre Tsivtsivadze has won the 2021 ICF Junior & U23 Canoe Sprint World Championship in Montemor-O-Velho, Portugal today.

He was the fastest athlete in the men’s junior C1 500 metres final, followed by Maksim Karataev (Russia) and Mihai Chihaia (Moldova).

Tsivtsivadze reached the finish line first in 115 seconds.
