Teams of Georgia’s Red Cross Society arrived in the Oni municipality to ensure support for rescuers and communities affected by the landslide that hit the Shovi resort.

“Dozens of people are missing and some are dead in a landslide affecting the Shovi area in eastern Georgia. Roads and bridges are destroyed.

The teams of Red Cross Georgia have mobilized to support emergency services and people affected with first aid, water and other essentials”, - reads the tweet of Georgia’s Red Cross Society.
