The air temperature will decrease by 2 - 3 degrees compared to last week, although the country’s territory remains under the influence of a heat wave.

According to the National Environment Agency, on some days the air temperature in Western Georgia may reach +34 +36, and in Eastern Georgia – +35 +37.

In the mountainous regions of the country, the maximum daytime temperature will rise to +31 +36, in the highlands - to +26 +31.

The expected high temperatures are favorable conditions for the activation of processes related to forest fires and the melting of glaciers.
