Today marks the official start of our election campaign as we unveil the main candidate for the upcoming local self-government elections, candidate for mayor of our beautiful capital, Tbilisi. Such a statement the Prime Minister of Georgia made at the campaign launch event.

“On this beautiful and peaceful evening, we have no right not to thank the Georgian people for the trust they placed in us during last year’s parliamentary elections on October 26.

These elections, which served as a de facto referendum, reflected the Georgian society’s clear choice in favour of peace, dignity, and development.

It is this victory that has enabled us to turn our full attention today toward the development of each municipality, city, village. Over the next 4 years, we are committed to bringing even greater prosperity to every corner of Georgia.

Peace to Georgia, greater prosperity for Tbilisi, and ongoing development across every region and corner of our country. This is our mission, which, with the support of our society, we are fully committed to fulfilling over the next four years”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
