Weather to change in Georgia - National Environmental Agency issues statement

According to the National Environmental Agency, from the afternoon of August 8 to August 11, against the backdrop of high temperatures, rain with thunderstorms, strong in some places, westerly winds, hail is possible. Storm is also expected at sea [3-4 points]. “The expected precipitation may cause flash floods on small rivers of Georgia, and the creation and activation of landslides and mudslides in hilly and mountainous areas [danger level medium]”, - adds the agency.
