Due to an event planned in the Gldani district, on September 29, from 15:00 to 22:00, traffic on Omar Khizanishvili Street will be temporarily restricted.
In particular, traffic from the intersection of Omar Khizanishvili and Ilia Vekua Streets will be restricted to a one-way road section, in the direction of Omar Khizanishvili Street.
“During the restriction period, the direction of traffic on Vekua St. will change and temporarily become two-way, which will allow vehicles to turn right from Khizanishvili St. to move onto Vekua St., while vehicles moving from Khizanishvili St. to Vekua St. will be able to move using the nearest turn.
Minor changes will also be made to the public transport movement scheme.
Buses - N304, N308, N323, N335, N339 and N351 will turn right at Khizanishvili Street N73 to reach Vekua St. and then move according to the established scheme, while minibus N417, after turning from the area adjacent to Khizanishvili St. N73, will continue to move along Vekua St. by turning left and joining other traffic flows, After which, the movement from Gldani VII microdistrict (Khizanishvili St.) will continue according to the established scheme”, - reads the statement of the Tbilisi City Hall.
