Interrogation of Bacho Akhalaia at the Criminal Police Department has been completed

Bacho Akhalaia, former Defence Minister of Georgia, left the Criminal Police Department building after his interrogation.

As he told media, the questions mainly concerned the audio recording released on October 4. Akhalaia said, law enforcers were interested in who he knew from the organizers and recorded the answers to "compare them to the voice sample."

“My voice is heard here; this voice was there too, and clearly, these are different voices, voices from different worlds. I have nothing to hide. I explained clearly who I know, where I know them from, what relationships I have, who I am close to, where I live, etc.", - added the former minister.

Journalists asked about the information that the First Medical Aid brigade was called to the police because he felt unwell. "I don`t know, my lawyer told me about that. I have no idea what it meant", - he answered.

Former Defence Minister was summoned to the Criminal Police Department for questioning regarding the events in Tbilisi on October 4. Bacho Akhalaia arrived at the police station at 13:00. He was called as a witness to provide a voice sample.
