SSSG launches investigation into suspected sabotage at Imedi TV

The State Security Service of Georgia launched an investigation into alleged sabotage following a formal request from the TV company “Imedi”.

The channel’s broadcast was interrupted at 17:48 and remained off-air for approximately 45 minutes.

Broadcasts were also halted for two other companies within the same media holding - Maestro and GDS.

Investigation is being conducted under the article of “sabotage”. Relevant investigative procedures are currently underway.
