OSCE Chairperson Elina Valtonen fined for blocking Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi

Elina Valtonen, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Finland`s Minister for Foreign Affairs, has been fined for illegally blocking Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi.

The information was confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

Dring her visit to Georgia under the OSCE Chairperson`s mandate, Valtonen joined a rally on Rustaveli Avenue. In response, the Prime Minister of Georgia canceled his scheduled meeting with the Finnish Foreign Minister.
