As a result of immediate operative measures and investigative actions, officers of Rustavi Police Division under Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested 2 individuals previously convicted of attempted murder and violence - Z.E., born in 1977, and N.N., born in 1991.

The committed crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that during the domestic dispute in Rustavi, the defendants first physically assaulted T.K., born in 1976, during which one of them, Z.E., inflicted injuries in the abdomen and leg area with a cold steel, and then fled the scene.

Law enforcement officers arrested Z.E. and N.N. as defendants shortly after the incident. The injured person was taken to a clinic for appropriate medical assistance.

The investigation is in progress under Articles 19-108 and 126 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
