Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a person wanted by Interpol under the Red Notice

Employees of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General`s Office detained a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, R.B., born in 1990, wanted by Interpol under the red notice, in Tbilisi.

The convicted person had been wanted by the Republic of Kazakhstan under the red notice since November 2025.

It turns out that R.B., with the motive of obtaining personal material benefit, was engaged in illegal gambling activities - organizing and operating an online casino on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is noteworthy that such activities are prohibited by law in the Republic of Kazakhstan and are not subject to licensing.

R.B. also misappropriated a large amount of money deposited into his bank accounts by individuals participating in online gambling.

Currently, pre-extradition procedures are underway against the detainee, as provided for by law.
