Officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested G.Sh., born in 1996, as a result of immediate activities for attempted murder.

The investigation established that the accused person, on the basis of the conflict that arouse between the parties in the past, inflicted severe injuries to M.K., born in 1966, with a cold steel and fled the scene.

The wounded man was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving appropriate medical care.

As a result of the investigative and search operations conducted by law enforcement officers, G.Sh. was arrested.

The police seized the weapon used to commit the crime - a knife - as evidence.

An investigation into the attempted murder is underway under Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning the imprisonment for a term of up to 15 years.
