Minister of Sports meets with President of European Handball Federation

The Minister of Sports met with the President of the European Handball Federation. The meeting took place in the Swedish city of Malmö within the framework of the European Handball Championship.

The parties discussed the development of handball in Georgia. Shalva Gogoladze also introduced the projects planned for the popularization of handball to Michael Wiederer.

The 2026 European Championship will be held from January 15 to February 1 and will be hosted simultaneously by Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The Georgian national team is competing in the European Championship for the second time in a row.
