Trailer and semi-trailer traffic restored on Gudauri - Kobi section

According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia, trailer and semi-trailer traffic has been restored on the Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi highway of international importance.

According to the National Environmental Agency, vehicle traffic on the Mleta-Gudauri and Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi sections will be carried out in a non-stop mode, on the Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section only through avalanche protection tunnels.

The movement of motor vehicles with trailers, semi-trailers and M3 category vehicles (having more than 8 seats (excluding the driver’s seat) and having a total mass of more than 5 tons) intended for the transport of passengers in tunnels will be carried out one-way.
