The Minister of Sports congratulated the national water polo team on their success.

In Malta, Georgian water polo players won the vice-championship of the tournament by defeating Brazil, Germany and other strong rivals. With this victory, Georgia was among the 8 best teams in the world.

Shalva Gogoladze thanked the athletes and the federation leaders and wished them success in future competitions.

The World Cup Super Final will start on July 22 in Australia.
