Georgia extends financial aid for Ukrainian refugees until October 2026

Due to the ongoing hostilities in Ukraine, the assistance of 300 GEL per family and 45 GEL per person for Ukrainian citizens and individuals with permanent residence rights in Ukraine who entered Georgia has been extended until October 1, 2026.

The relevant decree was issued by the Government of Georgia and is signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

The disbursement of funding will be ensured by the Social Services Agency.

The 45 GEL allowance per person will be discontinued from the following month for any individual who leaves the territory of Georgia. Under the same clause, the 300 GEL housing assistance will also be terminated for a family from the following month if all of its members leave the territory of Georgia.
