By decision of the Government of Georgia, due to the hostilities in Ukraine, the period for providing medical services to Ukrainian citizens who entered Georgia between February 1, 2022, and October 1, 2026, and have been continuously residing in the country, has been extended until October 1, 2026.The relevant decree was signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to the document, Ukrainian citizens will have access to the following medical services until October 1, 2026:

---Immunization
---Treatment for tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, including the provision of specific medications
---Maternal and child healthcare, including antenatal care and newborn screening
---Mental health services
---Diabetes management, including the provision of medications
---Dialysis
---Treatment for patients with rare diseases and those undergoing continuous replacement therapy
---Referral services – emergency medical care, including childbirth and emergency immunization
