I am pleased that today we are jointly opening the Kutaisi Technological Hub — a space that transforms knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship into economic opportunities. The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development said at the opening of the technological hub in Kutaisi.

As she noted, the goal of the economic policy is for economic growth to be based on more knowledge, more technology, and innovation, and to create high-paying jobs in every region of Georgia.

“Today’s global environment is dynamically changing. Artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and the data-driven economy determine the competitiveness of states, sectors, and economies. Under these conditions, Georgia’s choice is clear - to be not just a consumer of new technologies, but a country where knowledge is created, new ideas are born, and competitive technological business is developed”, - said Mariam Kvrivishvili.

The Minister also added that the implementation of this vision requires modern infrastructure, a strong educational environment, government support, and the active participation of the private sector. “The Kutaisi Technological Hub unites all of these elements”, - she concluded.
