For ensuring the proper operation of drainage infrastructure, "Georgian Amelioration" ltd is carrying out cleaning works in Lanchkhuti municipality.

The works carried out will facilitate the significant improvement of drainage on up to 30 ha of agricultural land area and protect land plots from flooding.

Currently, cleaning works are underway on the collector of the River Rioni left embankment drainage massif, as well as on certain sections of drainage canals. Total length of the canals is 5711 meters. The arrangement of drainage infrastructure will contribute to the timely and efficient discharge of excess water, which is particularly important in the areas characterized by heavy rainfall and high humidity and will ensure the improvement of the condition of agricultural land.
