Genadi Arveladze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, participated in a business forum held within the framework of the 25th CAREC (Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation Program) Ministerial Conference.

Within the framework of the event, the CAREC Alliance of Chambers of Commerce was established, which Georgia has also joined. The Alliance is an open platform for cooperation that brings together the chambers of commerce and industry as well as business associations of CAREC member states.

According to the Deputy Minister, Georgia’s integration into the CAREC Alliance of Chambers of Commerce will facilitate the country’s cooperation with other participating states of the program in the following areas: strengthening cooperation between the private and public sectors, developing infrastructural projects, and promoting the region’s investment and business opportunities, including new business partnerships.

“The Alliance will help the private sector more actively implement business projects along the Middle Corridor and promote cooperation in the areas of trade and investment”, - said Genadi Arveladze.

Within the framework of his visit to Mongolia, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia delivered a speech at the 25th CAREC Ministerial Conference and participated in a discussion panel dedicated to the development directions of the Middle Corridor.
