LIBE Committee is set to vote for the agreement reached by the EU regarding visa free travel regime for the citizens of Georgia after which the document will be discussed at the plenary session of the European Parliament. The session is expected to be held in February.

The common position on this subject was stated by the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Commissionis still in mid-December last year.

"The proposal which was agreed on within the format of trialogue will be voted for. This happened at the end of the previous year. Technical aspect of the procedure is left. The plenary will be held in February., "- says Natalia Sabanadze.
