"GYLA" will file a complaint on Panorama Tbilisi case at Court of Appeal

"GYLA" will present a complaint on the Panorama Tbilisi case at the Court of Appeal today. The Georgian Young Lawyers" Association demands to annul the decision of the first instance, and have an oral consderation of the case in the Court of Appeal.

The City Court suspended the case on June 22. The NGO requested the cancellation of 2 construction permits on the basis of which the hotel and entertainment complexes are being built in the historic center of the city.

The judge has named as a reason for refusa the violation of the time terms

"The arguments that the court has named to justify the cessation of the proceedings are in our view unreasonable. Naturally, we ask that this to be changed and to return the case back for consideration. We believe that the permits issued for the constructions are unjustified and unlawful, as construction permits have been issued in places where construction of such buildings is incompatible with the law, "- said Nona Kurdovadze, representative of GYLA.
