A substantive hearing of Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze case, founders of TBC Bank, will be held t at Tbilisi City Court. The process is scheduled for 12:00.

Businessmen are accused of legalizing illegal income. According to the decision of the Tbilisi City Court, Khazaradze and Japaridze should pay the fine amounting GEL 700 000.

The lawyers of Khazaradze – Japaridze call the current processes absurd and consider them politically motivated. If convicted, the defense will appeal to the Strasbourg court.

Businessman Avtandil Tsereteli is also accused of the same case. He is accused by the Prosecutor"s Office of assisting in money laundering.

Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze were charged for the fact of legalization of the illegal income of $16 664 000 on July 24, which was followed by a particularly large amount of income.
