Georgian figure skating couple of Alina Butaeva and Luka Berulava, has claimed its first historic bronze at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The Georgian representatives showed the third result in the short program, while the free program was the best. Finally Berulava and Butaeva scored 157.29 points and became bronze medalists.

Georgia has never won a medal at the Winter Youth Olympics. The Youth Olympic Games opened on January 9 and will continue until January 22.
