A 20-year-old man drowned in the Mtkvari River in Marneuli. The accident took place in the village of Keshalo.

According to the existing information, the young man went swimming in the river and could not get to the shore.

As Rustavi 2 was told in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation into the incident was launched under the first part of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
