Georgian border guards received with 20 modern Argo all-terrain vehicles thanks to financial support from the US Defense and Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).

According to the Georgian Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, these vehicles will help border guards improve protection of the country’s land borders.

Georgian border guards will undergo training in the coming days, during which they will learn to operate the vehicles.

As it known, the DTRA is implementing a number of projects with the Georgian Border Police to support the development of Georgia’s land and maritime border control.
