The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia brought charges against 3 people in the case of Vakho Sanaia

The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia brought charges against V.G., G.S. and S.S. on the fact of persecution and threatening on the grounds of intolerance and discrimination against the journalist Vakho Sanaia and his family member.

The incident took place on Tskneti Street. Three drunk individuals attacked Vakho Sanaia and his relative on February 25. All three perpetrators were arrested by police on the spot. They face up to 3 years in prison.

Sanaia links the incident to his professional activities.
