Irakli Garibashvili opens renovated Ozurgeti State Drama Theater

The Prime Minister of Georgia has opened renovated Ozurgeti State Drama Theater, funded by the Cartu Foundation and Bidzina Ivanishvili.

Ozurgeti State Drama Theater is equipped with ultra-modern sound and lighting systems. It houses two fully developed stages, a radio studio for recording radio performances. The building complies with modern standards. The theater has been granted the status of cultural heritage.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs Thea Tsulukiani, Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili, the Speaker of the Parliament Kakha Kuchava.
