“Today we are holding a meeting with the representatives of the clinics that are involved in the vaccination process and we also want to announce that a very important process starts today.

From July we expect more than a million vaccines and we are starting a new phase of fighting the pandemic, which means defeating the pandemic with mass vaccination.

We will discuss with clinics all the issues that can be resolved before the mass vaccination, so that our citizens do not face any delays in the process. The state is ready to solve all the problems that clinics can have. Involvement of clinics is very important. Quite a lot of experience has been gained during this period and more than 262 thousand citizens have been vaccinated across Georgia today, which is not a large number, although the vaccination process has a big dynamics.

Up to 200 clinics are involved at this stage, with 281 vaccination crews, each with a capacity of vaccinating 60 patients on an 8-hour schedule”, - said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
