Over 98% of COVID-infected to be unvaccinated, such a statement made today the Deputy Health Minister

“We analyzed the data on the coronavirus - infected patients. Over 98% of the hospitalized coronavirus patients have not been vaccinated. There are single cases of hospitalization among fully vaccinated individuals.

Surge infection is more evident in the regions, although no jump-rise is observed in Tbilisi or Adjara. It would take 2 weeks to see the results of tightened regulations.

Georgia expected recommendations from the World Health Organization about immunization of persons aged 12 and above. In any case, immunization will be voluntary”, - said Tamar Gabunia.
