The Senate Foreign Relations Committee responds to the European Commission’s positive recommendation regarding the granting of status to Georgia.

“Good news! The European Commission recommended today that accession talks with Ukraine and Moldova begin, and also that Georgia be granted European Union candidate status.

Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova all belong in the EuroAtlantic family”, - reads the statement of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
