As a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted by Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 2 persons - S.K., born in 1999, and I.M., born in 2000, were arrested on charges of facilitating the purchase, storage and sale of a particularly large amount of narcotics by a group with prior agreement.

The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

Law enforcement officers seized the narcotic drug “Alpha-PVP” prepared for sale as a result of personal and other search activities held in residential homes and vehicles.

As a result of the investigative actions, the police seized as evidence the materials necessary for packaging narcotics - adhesive tapes and electric scales, as well as a mobile phone and a drone, through which the defendants were studying the location for placing narcotics in advance.

The investigation is underway under Article 260, Article 260 (4) and Part 6, Subparagraph “a” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
