Officers of Didube-Chughureti Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested one person on charges of inflicting severe health injury.

The investigation established that the accused person, on the basis of previous conflict, injured a man with a cold steel and fled the scene. The injured man was hospitalized.

As a result of the investigative actions conducted by law enforcement officers, the perpetrator of the crime was arrested as an accused person at “Sadakhlo” border checkpoint.

The investigation is underway under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for imprisonment for up to 7 years.
