The National Environmental Agency (NEA) has released its weather forecast for Georgia covering the period of July 21–23.
According to the agency, Tbilisi may see light, brief thundery showers. Daytime temperatures will hover between 31 – 33 degrees.
Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti - warm and predominantly dry weather is forecast. Daytime temperatures will range from +27 to +29.
Zestaponi, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti - scattered brief showers and thunderstorms are expected. Daytime temperatures will reach +32.
Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass - brief thundery showers are anticipated, with daytime temperatures between 30 – 32 degrees.
Mestia, Bakhmaro - brief showers and thunderstorms are forecast. Temperatures during the day will range from +27 to +29.
Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali - localised thundery showers are expected in some areas. Daytime temperatures will sit between 31 – 33 degrees.
Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro - scattered thundery showers are forecast, with daytime temperatures hovering between +31 and +33.
Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri - brief thundery showers are anticipated. Daytime temperatures will range from 28 – 30 degrees.
Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo - some areas will see brief showers and thunderstorms. Daytime temperatures are expected to be noticeably cooler, between +23 and +25.
