Inspectors from the Imereti Department checked a cheese production operation run by M.F., in the village of Sikhtarva, Terjola. The state inspection revealed that the business operator was manufacturing cheese without the mandatory recognition and official registration in the economic activities registry, while also violating technological processes.

Following the detected violations, the operator was fined, and the facility`s production activities were suspended.

The National Food Agency remains committed to cracking down on illegal operations nationwide and calls on business operators to adhere strictly to statutory food safety standards.
