In the second quarter of 2026, Georgia received 1,101.8 million USD in revenue from travel, which is 3.8% less compared to the same period of the previous year. In total, during the first two quarters, the country received 1,931.7 million USD in revenue. The relevant data was released by the National Bank of Georgia.

"In the second quarter of 2026, the share of European Union countries in international travel revenue stood at 17.7%, amounting to USD 194.9 million, a 12.1% increase compared to the same period last year.

Revenues from Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and Armenia saw upward trends, growing year-on-year by 10.3%, 49.8%, and 5.6% to reach USD 59.5 million, USD 53.7 million, and USD 39.9 million, respectively.

Conversely, against the backdrop of the ongoing war in the Middle East, travel revenues from Israel and Iran fell year-on-year by 3.0% and 65.1%, dropping to USD 123.8 million and USD 10.2 million, respectively.
