Chair of the Health Care and Social Issues Committee Zaza Lominadze, his First Deputy Vladimer Kakhadze, and Deputy Chair Zaal Mikheladze met with Liana Siradze, President of the Association of School Doctors.

The meeting focused on the current situation, needs, and challenges related to the activities of medical personnel in general education institutions.

"In 2022, at the initiative of the Parliament of Georgia and the Health Care and Social Issues Committee, we brought school doctors back to schools. At the meeting, we discussed the challenges currently facing doctors and nurses working in schools. We also discussed the involvement of doctors in screening and immunization processes, as well as the issue of reintroducing the `Health Hour` in schools", - said Zaza Lominadze.
