Visa-free travel for Georgia - European Parliament speaks about necessity to accomplish this process by the end of year

Georgia has implemented all requests for visa liberalization- the European Parliament"s Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee member Mikhail Bonnie made an anno8uncement today. However he underlined that it is s not yet known when the final vote will be held at the European Parliament.

The MPs note that until negotiations on the mechanism of the temporary suspension of the negotiations will not be over, the date for vote can not be appointed.

According to him, Georgia has fulfilled all obligations and the Georgian people deserve visa-free travel, but due to certain circumstances, the date for vote can not be appointed till now.

Petras Austrevicius, a member of the European parliament"s Foreign Committee has commented on the issue as well. According to him, bureaucracy impedes the process .
