Students have been gathering at the Rustavi City Hall protesting against increased travel fare for the third day . Youth initiative group left the meeting with the Mayor in protest. According to students, the protest rallies will continue.

According to the Mayor, the students` rally at the City Hall is politicized and the budget does not provide for subsidies for transportation.
