60 people were killed as a result of a riot in Brazil prison. According to police, the riot grew out of a fight between two of the country"s biggest crime gangs over control of prisons and drug routes in northern Brazil.

However, relatives of the prisoners say that the cause  has become poor working conditions . In the prison, which is designed for 600 prisoners, 1500 convicts serve sentence.
