The cadidate for the position of the US Secretary of State has confirmed occupation of Georgia and Ukraine by Russia.

Rex Tillerson stated this at the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing .

Sen. Robert Menendez, asked a question - whether Russia violated international laws and norms by occupying territories of foreign countries, in particular Ukraine and Georgia

Rex Tillerson agreed with the senator is that the international order envisaged respect for their territorial integrity of sovereign states and that Russia ignores this principle.
