The Ministry of Internal Affairs detained one person in Gori for the assault on police officer

The officers of Shida Kartli Main Division of the Patrol Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained S.K. (DoB 2000) in Gori for assaulting a police officer in connection with his official duties.

The committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person attacked Patrol-Inspector -V.M. while fulfilling his official duties on Stalin Avenue, Gori and inflicted health injury.

The Investigation is in progress on the fact of the assault on police officer in connection with official duties under article 353(1), I part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
